Founded in 2016, GOALS is the only non-profit organization in Armenia promoting gender equality through sports, primarily in Armenia's rural communities. GOALS' mission is to empower Armenian women through sport, giving them the confidence and life skills necessary to challenge gender stereotypes. GOALS provides the infrastructure, coaches, equipment and resources to create girls’ leagues in rural communities across Armenia. Currently over 750 girls participate in GOALS activities in over 70 communities across Armenia.
