Ovak Technologies seeking Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in developing Oil and Gas industrial application toolchain.

Job responsibilities

Responsibilities

• To completely own the quality of the product releases.
• Plan, Design and Execute regression and release testing for web, embedded and SCADA industrial applications.
• Develop/Update quality assurance standards, environment and processes.
• Confirm quality and specification conformance of deliverables.
• Design, execute and maintain automated Test Cases.
• Prepare Test Run Summary Reports and Bugs Reports.
• Work closely with the development team.
• Work as a member of an Agile/Scrum team.
• Release Management.
• Communicate with customers for Acceptance testing.

Required qualifications

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as QA person.
• BS degree or higher in any technical specialization including Math and Physics.
• Experience in testing and test planning with automation tools and scripts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to learn, creativity and readiness for new challenges.
• Programming skills in Python, Shell, and/or other scripting languages.
• Understanding of CI/CD.
• Verbal and written English.
  

The following skills will be a plus:

• Experience as a QA of an industrial application.
• Familiarity with LabVIEW.
• Familiarity with MATLAB.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and how QA functions within it.
• ISTQB foundation level certification.
