Job responsibilities
- Preparation and submission of reports to the Central Bank of Armenia.
- Calculation of taxes and submission of reports to the tax authorities.
- Interaction with internal and external auditors and tax inspectors during periodic audits.
- Payroll calculation and other employee-related benefits.
- Formation and management of a team of accountants.
- Organization of the document workflow for accounting documents.
- Implementation of tax optimization strategies.
- Providing consultation to management and other departments on tax-related matters
- Participation in the development and implementation of internal control procedures
Required qualifications
- A chief accountant license is required.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial position within the financial sector.
- Experience in establishing accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in ArmSoft with hands-on experience in its implementation.
- Experience in undergoing audits and tax inspections.
Required candidate level: Senior
