Job responsibilities
Costing and Financial Control:
- Oversee all procedures related to food and beverage (F&B) costings.
- Monitor outlets for wastage, pilferage, and efficiency.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the cost of sales in all F&B outlets remains within budget.
- Prepare and distribute daily and monthly Food and Beverage Reports to management.
- Maintain menu pricing, consumption, and POS systems.
- Record entries into Computerized Food & Beverage Store Ledger based on F&B Logs.
- Collaborate with F&B Management on menu engineering and menu item costing.
- Identify weaknesses in control procedures and propose improvements.
- Complete month-end processing of General Ledger entries.
Accounts Payable Management:
- Receive, verify, record, and pay all international invoices, issuing appropriate self-invoices.
- Maintain Accounts Payable register, check or transfer register, and prepare various logs and reconciliation of registers.
- Verify proper codes and signatures of appropriate Executive Committee Members on all invoices.
- Establish and maintain a vendor file system to retain outstanding invoices.
- Timely booking of all received invoices to the ledger.
- Coordinate payment methods and terms with the Finance department.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting.
- Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of English and Russian languages.
Required candidate level: Mid level
