Job description:
This position is responsible to the school administration and works closely with the teacher. The director or academic coordinator will help coordinate the teacher assistant's schedules and involvement in the classroom. The teacher assistant should have effective verbal and written communication skills for expressing or exchanging ideas, hearing to perceive information at a normal spoken word level and visual acuity for preparing and analyzing written or computer data.

Job responsibilities
- Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the academic coordinator and the teacher.
- Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
- Assist classroom teacher with maintaining student records.
- Support students with emotional or behavior concerns and assist them in developing appropriate social skills.
- Organize and take part in school events, outings and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening.
Required qualifications
- Experience in teaching English language to students of all ages.
- Teaching certificate preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Armenian, Russian will be helpful.
- Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
