Job responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the annual budget planning process, taking into account revenue projections, cost analysis, and strategic goals.
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to optimize revenue streams and control expenses.
- Conduct regular financial reviews and adjustments to ensure the resort's financial health and stability.
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts with vendors, suppliers, and partners.
- Foster effective communication channels with staff, guests, and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Address any concerns or issues raised by staff or guests promptly.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to department heads and employees, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Foster a positive work environment where all team members feel valued, motivated, and empowered to contribute to the resort's success.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion, leveraging market insights and industry trends.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all departments.
- Implement operational best practices and standards to enhance guest satisfaction and overall guest experience.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 6+ of progressive experience in hotel management or resort operations, with a focus on financial planning and leadership.
- Fluency in Armenian, English, and Russian, both written and verbal
- Strong understanding of finance, budgeting processes, and financial analysis.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable contracts and partnerships.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team to achieve common goals.
- General understanding of the hospitality industry, including guest service standards and operational best practices.
