Meet Salary Radar a new service from staff.am

Our team is excited to finally launch the #SalaryRadar beta version, the new service we've been working on for the past couple of months. Continue reading to learn more about our new service.

What is Salary Radar?

Through Salary Radar, employers and job seekers can learn more about salary rates for various positions offered on the market.
Rather than conduct company-wide salary surveys that take a lot of time and require close monitoring, we use staff.am, the largest source of jobs, employers, and candidates in one place.
In Armenia, employers and job-seekers are increasingly seeking reliable and fresh sources of salary information. This service caters to this need.

How do we collect the data?

On a daily basis, staff.am processes hundreds of job postings and thousands of applications. This data is the basis for Salary Radar.
In a new job posting, the company representative is prompted to provide the average net monthly salary in AMD for the position.
The same happens, when the candidate applies for an open position via staff.am. The job-seeker in this case provides the amount of average net salary in AMD they expect for this position.
All employer-provided and job-seeker-provided information is completely confidential, encrypted, and not made available to anyone.

How can you use Salary Radar?

  • Salary Radar for Job-seekers - The Salary Radar allows job seekers to compare what they expect to make with what their desired position pays. The exact salary of the position is confidential, so we do not reveal it, but we help you understand what's happening in the market, so you can make an informed decision.
  • Salary Radar for Employers - Through Salary Radar, employers can make salary review and benchmarking processes more data-driven. To assist you, we do not request any additional information or salary ranges for all positions. Applicants in your dashboard will have a badge indicating how their requested salary matches your average net monthly salary. Furthermore, we will provide monthly salary reports showing current levels, growth and decline trends, and other valuable market information.

How can I contribute?

Currently, we are in the process of gathering data, which means that it will take some time before we can fully provide our users with the expected reports and predictions.
It is very important that we have high engagement levels both from our users - job-seekers and employers.
Taking 10 seconds to enter the amount offered or expected salary helps staff.am generate salary reports that are important to the whole market.
