We are looking to hire a Health and Safety Engineer to ensure that all occupational health and safety standards are followed and that adherence to environmental laws is maintained in industrial or manufacturing settings.

The Health and Safety Engineer must devise safety plans, monitor practices to ensure compliance, write up safety policies and procedures, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Աշխատանքային պարտականություններ

• Develop safety policies to minimize risks, outline safety procedures, and ensure regulatory compliance with federal occupational health and safety laws and regulations;
• Implement/coordinate safety programs to prevent unsafe environmental and working conditions;
• Promote workplace and product safety by identifying and monitoring potential hazards to people or property;
• Work with managers, representatives and other personnel to investigate incidents, offer solutions, and follow up to ensure that the issue leading to the incident has been addressed and corrected;
• Consult with governmental organizations on how to handle problems in compliance with safety regulations;
• Design and install safety devices on machinery or clothing;
• Coordinate the training of workers on safety procedures using safety equipment, devices, and clothing.

Անհրաժեշտ հմտություններ

• Higher education in Engineering or a related field is required;
• 3+ years of experience as a Safety Engineer is a must;
• Work experience in Construction is a must;
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and materials;
• Strong ability to define and develop processes;
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills;
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills;
• Advanced knowledge of English and Armenian languages, Russian is a plus;
• Knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD is a must;
• Ability to travel within and off the borders of Armenia;
• Availability of a private car.
