Job description:
TUMO is currently expanding its educational centres throughout Armenia and internationally. The projects vary in scale and location from local to international TUMO centres; where you will be working alongside our design and construction teams.
We seek a design focused BIM manager that can act as a collaborator between TUMO, the design team, the contractor team and supply chain. As a BIM Manager, you will oversee the production of project information models which contain 3D visualisations that bring together data, drawings and schedules associated with the design and construction phase of a project.

Job responsibilities
- Software - Manage software products including but not limited to incorporating new version releases and customization of the products
- Manage the implementation of supporting software for BIM
- Evaluate new BIM related software and technologies
- Stay informed on best practices for use of Revit Architecture and BIM
- Stay informed on other BIM related software
- Installation and support of related BIM software
- Standards - Responsibilities for BIM standards development, implementation, and enforcement.
- Creation and maintenance of the software Templates files to assure standards
- Provide support for plotting and electronic file submissions
- Automated routines in BIM to support standard productivity
- Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all shop drawings produced
- Train and oversee the day-to-day activities of the Revit Specialist to ensure BIM standards are maintained in the creation of the Architectural Revit model
- Establish a BIM Execution Plan (BEP) for project team
- Management - Create written technological evaluations and budgets for future technology adoption that aligns with TUMO goals
- Provide weekly BIM updates to the documentation team
- Report on TUMO’s current and projected state in regards to BIM implementation
- Create Upgrade and deployment strategies for the BIM implementation effort.
- Manage the project model(s) on-line, including consultant model integration and clash detection
- Ensure all consultants conform to the BEP throughout the project.
- Support - Provide hardware and network support as it relates to BIM production
- Support the BIM technology needs of aligned consultants sharing the online collaborative environment.
Required qualifications
- 2+ years production experience in design, drafting or engineering of complex mixed use typology.
- At least one completed project (end-to-end) in REVIT, acting as BIM Manager
- Project experience managing the integration of multiple Revit Models on the BIM 360 Design/ BIM Collaborate Pro design collaboration platform
- Agile troubleshooting ability to assist team in resolving Revit/BIM related issues
- Experience in multi-disciplinary working environments
- Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals
- Ability to take on additional responsibilities as required as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance
- Possess the ability to work well as part of a team and independently.

TUMO has centers in Yerevan, Dilijan, Gyumri and Stepanakert and work is underway to open centers in Koghb and Masis. TUMO Boxes are already in operation in the towns of Berd and Gavar. A third TUMO Box will open soon in the town of Sevan. Outside of Armenia, there are centers in Paris, Beirut, Moscow, Tirana and Berlin. Centers will soon open in several other cities around the world.
