TUMO Center for Creative Technologies is looking for a skillful and experienced Communications Editor.

Job responsibilities
- Work with the communications team to ensure quality of communication materials as well as their timely delivery (social media posts, written and visual content)
- Initiate, proofread, edit social media posts, press releases and articles delivered by the communications team
- Work with the communications & web development teams to ensure the quality of the content of TUMO’s websites
- Cooperate with the management and develop communication campaigns and flows according to the priorities and plans
- Report to the comms/events management on the team’s performance and development on a permanent basis
- Work with local and international media to ensure TUMO’s presence on various platforms
- Undertake audience research and direct the communication activities accordingly
- Conduct tours for high level guests when needed
- Deliver various editorial tasks from management
- Work closely with the events’ manager to ensure timely promotion and communication regarding hosted and own events
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of work experience in Communications, PR or journalism (leadership experience is highly preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of Armenian and English
- Strong copywriting skills
- Leadership skills and ability to motivate and run a big creative team
- Excellent knowledge of social media tools and media outlets, good understanding of visual content creation processes
- Attention to detail and high sense of responsibility

What is TUMO?

TUMO is a new kind of educational experience at the intersection of technology and design.

Our Locations

TUMO has centers in Yerevan, Dilijan, Gyumri and Stepanakert and work is underway to open centers in Koghb and Masis. TUMO Boxes are already in operation in the towns of Berd and Gavar. A third TUMO Box will open soon in the town of Sevan. Outside of Armenia, there are centers in Paris, Beirut, Moscow, Tirana and Berlin. Centers will soon open in several other cities around the world.
