The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies is a free-of-charge educational program that puts teens in charge of their own learning. Our learning program is made up of self-learning activities, workshops and project labs that revolve around 14 learning targets.
Foundation:
The Simonian Educational Foundation is the force behind TUMO, driving a vision of reimagining after-school learning. The SEF was founded by Sam and Sylva Simonian in 2011.

The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies is an after school educational program that puts teenagers in charge of their own learning. The program is made up of self-learning activities, workshops and learning labs that cover over 14 focus areas, including programming, animation, game development, music, robotics, 3D modeling, drawing, writing, filmmaking, web development, and graphic design. More than 25,000 teens between the ages of 12 and 18 visit TUMO centers each week to learn the latest in technology and design.
TUMO, headquartered in Yerevan, operates hubs in Armenian cities such as Koghb, Kapan, Yeghegnadzor, Dilijan, and Gyumri, with many more coming soon. Additionally, there are 30+ TUMO Boxes in towns like Berd, Jermuk, Gavar, Meghri, and others. As we work towards a total of 16 centers and 110 locations across Armenia, TUMO centers are also established in over 10 cities internationally, including cities like Paris, Berlin, Mannheim, Lisbon, Tirana, and Coimbra, with upcoming locations in Los Angeles, Takasaki, Buenos Aires, and more.
