YOUR TEAM

Taking on the role of Debed CFS Center Coordinator means you'll be an essential part of the COAF Village Programs team. You'll work under the direct supervision of the Village Programs Manager.

Your duties will include:

Job responsibilities

PROJECT MANAGEMENT (40%)

  • Establish the Center as a central hub for delivering psychological services, speech therapy, social work, early childhood development programs, training for specialists, and related services to the beneficiary communities.
  • Oversee the Center's operations, coordinate the efforts of the staff, and ensure the timely, high-quality, and efficient delivery of services.
  • Develop and implement the Center's annual work plan in collaboration with Center staff, and contribute to the annual budget planning process.
  • Monitor the schedule and adherence to the work plan, ensure the quality of services delivered, and propose improvements as needed.
  • Initiate and coordinate activities at the Center.
  • Compile, update, analyze, and monitor the database of the Center's beneficiaries, and prepare oral and written reports.
  • Register children, execute agreements, and provide feedback to parents.
  • Monitor the proper use of property and equipment, manage warehouse operations, and conduct annual inventory checks.
  • Coordinate purchases for the Center, and resolve administrative issues and challenges as they arise.
  • Collaborate with the SMART Center Education and Operations Manager to deliver services tailored to educational needs.
  • Fulfill other organizational and administrative duties as directed by the management team of the Yerevan office.
  • Travel as required.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT (30%)

  • Manage team workload guaranteeing work quality & high productivity.
  • Monitor your teams’ performance by providing regular feedback.
  • Ensure communication flow between your team & other actors.
  • Organize and lead team meetings to foster internal communication, review work progress, and support team well-being.
  • Participate in the selection and integration of Center specialists, collaborate closely with professional services managers, and coordinate with other departments within the organization.
  • Support parents in planning and organizing transportation routes.

STAKEHOLDER COORDINATION (30%)

  • Engage and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including government, NGOs, schools, medical facilities, community centers, parents, children, and other target groups
  • Raise awareness about Debed Center’s and COAF’s humanitarian assistance programs and activities and ensure the exchange of program information
  • Provide routine report updates and liaise closely with COAF’s Armenia office

YOU KNOW (knowledge)

  • Developmental needs and reform processes in rural communities.
  • Main approaches of socio-psychological support.
  • Methodology of non-formal education.
  • Proficiency in Armenian (excellent) and English (good), both verbal and written. Knowledge of Russian is an advantage.
  • Principles and methods of program management.

YOU CAN (skills)

  • Manage multifunctional programs with at least 5 years of experience, including mid- or senior-level management roles involving the design and implementation of community development or multi-sector projects. Experience in managing socio-psychological programs is advantageous.
  • Use data to drive decisions and define priorities.
  • Analyze data and generate necessary reports.
  • Excellent communication with others.
  • Manage time properly.
  • Work independently under stressful conditions & deadlines.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Utilize G Suite and other work platforms effectively.

COAF’s target development areas are education, healthcare, child and family services, as well as social and economic development.
