About the role:

The Project Coordinator at VBET is responsible for leading and implementing priority projects assigned by the Managing Director and Special Projects Manager, coordinating with departments for timely completion within budget, preparing and updating project documentation, managing contracts, and providing recommendations on procurement processes.

Job responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and implement priority projects assigned by the Managing Director and Special Projects Manager
• Prepare project charters and workplans to outline timelines and deliverables for the assigned projects
• Oversee and monitor the activities and resources and metrics of the assigned projects ensuring successful and coordinated completion of projects
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget requirements
• Keep the Managing Director and Special Projects Manager updated and informed on the status of individual projects, make recommendations regarding necessary project scope changes and problem-solve as issues arise
• Prepare and submit regular and ad hoc reports to the executive directors on the progress of their projects
• Convey priorities, coordinate work and ensure issues are resolved or escalated to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met
• Maintain all project documentation, including project plans, status reports, issue and risk logs, budgets and expenses, and project organizational and communication charts
• Research and give recommendations on procurement processes and issues that might arise with any of the vendors
• Manage contracts and review them for any discrepancies that need to be rectified
• Provide additional support as necessary

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related fields
• Solid foundation in mathematics
• Experience in project management or a related field
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A willingness to see problems as opportunities and a solution-minded approach
• Strong skills in managing multiple complex projects concurrently
• Ability to act independently and apply creative problem-solving to analyze project processes and make sound recommendations
• Highly developed communication skills
• Possessing a go-getter attitude and a drive to get things done with quality and within the stipulated timeline
• Attention to detail and solid organizational skills
• The respect for deadlines and the desire to keep the high work quality
• Fluency in English, Russian
