Job description:

The incumbent will be responsible for provision of extended consultation to potential borrowers on all types of retail lending products offered to individuals and taking all necessary measures to ensure timely approval and disbursement of loans, to approve the loans wihin the personal approving limit and to present it to Small and Large Credit Committees

Job responsibilities

  • Review retail loan applications, provide professional conclusions
  • Submit loan conclusions to the head of unit / Small and Large Credit Committees / Management Board for approval
  • Provide professional consultation
  • Underwriting of retail loans
  • Approving of loans within the personal limit
  • To be involved in different kinds of Innovation Projects in bank as a Subject Matter Expert
  • Participate in loan analysis and monitoring
  • Prepare and submit to authorized bodies conclusions on restructuring loans or reviewing their terms
  • Provide extended consultation to potential borrowers on all types of retail lending products offered by Retail Banking Department to individuals
  • Review and check the documents and information provided by clients, assess creditworthiness and borrowing capacity of applicants
  • Prepare and provide conclusions on the financial standing of clients, submit the credit file to the Credit Committee for approval
  • Where required make inquiries on clients' credit history to credit bureaus and other agencies
  • Handle the document flow and credit files of the unit
  • Collect documents related to loan disbursement and required during loan service and carry out other necessary functions
  • Substitute the senior specialist and the specialist and perform their duties when the latter are absent
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the head of the unit or chief specialist

Required qualifications

  • University degree in finance, business administration, economics or other related field
  • At least 2 years of work experience in banking
  • Knowledge of banking legislation and prudential standards
  • Strong critical thinking
  • Team player skills
  • Profound knowledge of MS Office, proficiency in AS-Bank Operational Day
  • Excellent command of Armenian, Russian and English
