The Budgeting Auditor of Group of Companies is responsible for overseeing and auditing the budgeting processes for a group of companies. The role involves assessing financial forecasts, budget compliance, performance evaluations, and identifying discrepancies within the budgeting and financial planning process across various entities within the group. The auditor ensures that the companies within the group are operating in line with approved financial strategies and budgets, ensuring financial integrity, transparency, and accountability.

• Review and audit the annual budgets for each company within the group
• Verify that the budgeting process aligns with the group’s financial goals and strategies
• Assess the accuracy and completeness of budget forecasts provided by departmental heads and business units
• Analyze revenue, expense projections, and capital expenditure requirements across the group
• Conduct regular audits to ensure that all budgets are followed and that expenditures are within the approved financial limits
• Identify and report any variances between actual financial performance and budgeted figures
• Prepare detailed audit reports on the status of the company’s budgets, highlighting discrepancies and offering recommendations for corrective action
• Monitor and analyze the financial performance of individual companies within the group to ensure alignment with budgeted targets
• Review quarterly and annual financial reports to provide feedback and guidance on financial health
• Investigate and report on any major budget deviations and assist in identifying reasons for the discrepancies
• Provide recommendations to enhance budgetary control processes and improve cost management across the group
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and scenario planning
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in the budgeting and financial reporting procedures
• Recommend strategies for cost reduction and improved budgetary controls
• Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes to ensure the group remains compliant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in auditing, finance, or budgeting within a corporate environment
• Previous experience with group companies or multi-entity auditing is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax compliance, and industry best practices
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills for budget analysis and reporting
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
