This position is responsible for enhancing and maintaining existing software products as well as developing new products. The ideal candidate has a strong desire for excellence, with confidence in their expertise, and is a creative problem solver.

Job responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use
- Serve as technical expert on development projects.
- Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
- Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
- Support, maintain, and document software functionality
- Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation
- Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
- Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
- Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs
- Work under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment
- May consult with senior peers on certain projects
- Other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications
- Requires at 2+ years of experience in field
- BS Degree in Computer Science or an applicable technical focus
- Proficient in C# with a very good understanding of the ecosystem
- Experience designing advanced .NET applications using C#, .NET Web API, LINQ
- Database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL)
- Knowledge of Angular 2+
- Experience with Typescript
- Experience with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
- Strong background in object oriented development techniques
- Knowledge of Source control (TFS and Git)
- Solution Design Patterns and Best Practices, e.g. SOA Working knowledge of parsing XML and CSV files
- Experience with Visual Studio 2017 is required
- Experience with ASP.NET Web API, .NET Core is a plus
- Ability to learn new technologies independently is a plus
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Good knowledge of English language, both communication and technical level
