As a Chief Regional Development Officer, you will have the opportunity to lead and inspire a team of Regional Directors, guiding them to achieve their full potential while driving our company's success. ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Chief Regional Development Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's success. We require a candidate who not only has a deep understanding of the gambling industry and its key financial metrics, but also possesses exceptional leadership skills and a strategic approach to drive our business forward. You will oversee a team of seasoned Regional Directors and ensure that their activities are in line with the company's objectives, while maximizing revenue and profitability. Your expertise in P&L management, revenue optimization, and financial forecasting will be crucial in driving the business forward and meeting our ambitious targets. In addition to financial acumen, you will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding our directors to achieve their full potential, inspiring them to achieve exceptional performance and delivering outstanding results. - You understand the critical importance of data analysis and the impact it has on a company's success. - Forge powerful alliances with internal teams such as Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Product, as well as external parties including regulatory bodies, local authorities, third-party brands, and key legal and commercial entities. Through these relationships, increase brand awareness, drive partnerships, ensure compliance, and unleash the full potential of our business operations.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement effective strategies that drive profitability and long-term success. Utilize financial analysis and market research to inform decisions, and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure that our clients remain competitive in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance and prepare detailed financial reports for senior management, identifying areas of improvement and making recommendations for optimization.
- Provide expert advice on financial and regulatory matters, including risk management, financial forecasting, and investment strategies, ensuring transparency where necessary and maintaining confidentiality where appropriate.
- Continuously review and improve financial controls to safeguard assets and minimize financial risk, maintaining the highest levels of integrity and ethical conduct.
- Provide inspirational leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to the Regional Directors team, enabling them to meet their potential and achieve excellent results, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to boost revenue in all regions, while ensuring that the company's financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Manage risk effectively, identifying and mitigating potential issues that could impact the company's reputation or financial stability, and making informed decisions that balance risk and reward.
- Continuously evaluate and optimise the presentation and promotion of our products and services, utilising extensive market research and analysis to drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Stay updated on the latest gambling industry trends and innovations, build strong networks with peers and experts, and leverage this knowledge to develop effective campaigns that capture the target audience's attention, drive growth, and achieve business success.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and threats, and develop strategies to optimise revenue and minimise risk.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration, emphasising the need for transparency and effective communication to ensure that all departments are aligned and working towards common goals.
- Embody a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, driving the company towards success and profitability.
- Regularly report to senior management on the performance of the regions, highlighting any issues and opportunities, and providing recommendations for improvements.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation of knowledge and expertise.
- Experience working in the gambling or related industry, showcasing a deep understanding of the industry's intricacies and nuances.
- Experience in developing and executing strategic plans, indicating a track record of success in achieving business objectives.
- Proven experience as a senior executive, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role in the gambling or related industry. We're looking for a high-roller who has been in the game for a while and knows the ins and outs of the gambling world.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic plans that have achieved revenue and profitability targets, highlighting the candidate's ability to hit the jackpot and drive business growth and success.
