Position Overview:

We are seeking a Mid/Senior Animator with a passion for gaming and a creative mindset to join our dynamic and passionate team at Rockbite Games. Here, we value artistry and innovation in bringing characters and worlds to life. Обязанности

Key Responsibilities:

- Create high-quality animations for characters, creatures, and objects that enhance the gameplay experience.

- Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure animations integrate seamlessly into the game.

- Develop animation rigs and workflows that support a variety of character types and animation styles.

- Work with the art and design teams to maintain a consistent animation style throughout the game.

- Debug and optimize animations to ensure they run smoothly on all target platforms.

- Contribute to the creative process by providing ideas and feedback on gameplay and visual style.

Требования

Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of animation principles, motion, and rigging techniques.
- Proven experience in creating high-quality animations for games.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Passion for gaming and a deep appreciation for player experiences.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies

Дополнительная информация

Nice-to-Have:

- Familiarity with 2D animation and tools like Spine.
- Previous experience working in the gaming industry.
- Understanding of the entire game development pipeline.
- solid portfolio
- experience in 2D asset creation with Photoshop (for animation)
- good understanding of Animation integration for Unity
- knowledge of 3D animation and Adobe After Effects will be considered an advantage
