Job description:
We are looking for a strong communicator, analytical and creative thinker to join the Insurance Companies Supervision team.

Job responsibilities
Supervision of RA insurance companies and other insurance market participants;
- To carry out off-site supervision and on-site supervision of insurance companies and other insurance market participants (including market infrastructures)
- Identify risks threatening the stability and continuity of insurance companies and/or the system, take measures and/or submit proposals for their elimination, including, as necessary, initiating the application of a measure of responsibility against the supervised person
- Analyze the financial condition of insurance companies, assess the adequacy of risk management and internal control systems in companies to the nature and complexity of the company's risks
- Assess the level of corporate management culture in insurance companies, take control measures to bring them in line with existing requirements and international best practices
- Participate in the improvement of regulation of the insurance field
Required qualifications
Required qualification/skills:
- Higher education in economics
- At least 3 year of work experience in the financial sector
- Knowledge of the legislation and regulatory framework governing the insurance sector is desirable
- Knowledge of risk management
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Ability to work with MS Excel
- Excellent knowledge of Armenian, good knowledge of English and Russian
- Analytical ability
An additional advantage will be considered
- Knowledge of Insurance Core Principles will be considered an advantage
- Possession of relevant international qualifications will be an advantage
