Why Cloud?

Similar to Physics, at some point, people will refer to a Classical and Modern period in IT. What is the relativity theory for physics, is the Cloud for IT. Cloud will be like electricity; no one thinks anymore to have its own "generator at home".

Many companies endured higher costs when they lifted and shifted their platforms. To prevent this, additional skills are needed. One of many is for instance to transform from Monolith Structures to Microservices Architectures.

Sophrosyne is an ancient Greek concept of an ideal of excellence of character and soundness of mind, which when combined in one well-balanced individual leads to other qualities, such as temperance, moderation, prudence, purity, decorum, and self-control. An adjectival form is "sophron".
