Job responsibilities

What you will do:

  • Provide customers with high quality service, accurately carrying out daily activities
  • Ensure delivery of a consistently excellent customer experience, encouraging customers to use alternative channels (where appropriate)
  • Identify cross sell opportunities and recognizing customer’s wider needs and make referrals to other areas of the bank, where the customer’s needs can be met
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of HSBC customer propositions and products, their differences and benefits, articulate how these meet diverse customer needs
  • Be accountable for leading the customer ownership and ensure it is effectively run managing to the Target Operating Model (TOM) as defined by Group
  • Work collaboratively with others to create a productive, diverse and supportive working environment
  • Ensure enhanced knowledge of AML, Financial Crime Compliance and strict adherence to local and Global policies and regulations in accordance with HSBC Strategy, Principals and Values
  • Apply policies and procedures to their allocated tasks, taking responsibility for their own actions and ensuring the achievement of effective risk management
  • Be accountable for minimizing risk and maximizing operational efficiency

In this role you will:

  • Provide the highest quality service to contribute to the business
  • Offer value added products and services based on customer needs and ensures customer understanding of those products
  • Upgrade existing HSBC customers to other propositions based on their needs, cross sell WPB products and services and refer to specialist areas where required
  • Deliver the standards of required service quality by achieving SLAs
  • Ensure strict compliance with all internal sales/audit/compliance procedures and guidelines, as well as adherence to local laws and regulations
  • Ensure high quality of branch daily operations not limited to the ones listed below:
  • Processing of cash/non-cash transactions, acceptance of local/international payments, processing of bank cheques and etc.
  • Servicing of loan accounts, placement and servicing of time deposit accounts
  • End of day teller box cash/bank vault balancing

Required qualifications

  • Relevant work experience in a customer facing role
  • Ability to work with rules and regulations
  • Consistency achieved set objective, and action taken for personal performance improvement
  • Excellent knowledge of Armenian and English

HSBC Armenia Brings New Year Joy to Rural Children

 

New Year's dreams come true. Every year hundreds of children from Armenian different regions believe in New Year's miracles receiving gifts from Santa Claus thanks to "HSBC Bank Armenia" CJSC (hereinafter HSBC Armenia / Bank).

Since 2007, as part of the HSBC Youth Opportunities Programme, HSBC employees around the world have been purchasing toys for children from disadvantaged backgrounds and delivering them to the offices of local partner charity organisations.

The employees of HSBC Armenia enthusiastically take part in this project ahead of the New Year celebrations. They visit the regions, distribute gifts and help create an unforgettable day for the children who believe in Santa.
