Position Overview: We are seeking a Live Operations Manager with a passion for gaming and a strategic mindset to join our dynamic and passionate team at Rockbite Games. Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of our live games to ensure a seamless and engaging player experience.
Develop and execute live operations strategies, including in-game events, promotions, and content updates.
Collaborate closely with game designers, community managers, and developers to plan and implement live events and updates.
Monitor game performance and player behavior to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
Respond to and resolve live game issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions for players.
Analyze data and player feedback to inform live operations decisions and optimize player engagement and retention.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of live operations processes and strategies.
Foster a strong community by engaging with players and responding to their feedback and concerns.

Required qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience managing live operations for games or other digital products.
Strong understanding of player engagement, retention, and monetization strategies.
Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools.
Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Passion for gaming and a deep appreciation for player experiences.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.

Required candidate level: Mid level

Additional information

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Familiarity with game development tools and engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
Knowledge of scripting and programming languages.
Previous experience working in the gaming industry.
Understanding of community management and player support practices.
Experience with user experience (UX) design and principles.
