Job responsibilities
What you will do:
The jobholder will act in the capacity of Regulatory Compliance Manager in Risk and Compliance Department
The roleholder is responsible for ensuring adequate controls are in place to manage regulatory compliance risks. The role holder provides subject matter expertise for the purpose of setting policy, providing guidance and advising the businesses and functions on managing regulatory compliance risks to ensure HSBC's compliance to both global and local laws, rules and regulations.
Regulatory Compliance department, within Risk and Compliance function, executes second-line responsibilities with regards to regulatory compliance risks, supporting all areas of the Group to help identify and manage Compliance risks, by providing independent and objective oversight, challenge and support to Lines of Business and Functions. As a specialist function, RC is accountable for customer conduct, market conduct and other regulatory compliance risks.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Coordination of Management Reporting and Analysis function
- Provide advice, guidance and challenge in relation to Regulatory Compliance risks
- Identify and drive the implementation of Regulatory changes affecting the Bank
- Review internal processes and procedures
- Review marketing and advertising materials for ensuring compliance
- Review the responses to written complaints
Required qualifications
You should apply if you have:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Banking and/or Law
- Professional Audit qualification or ICA certificate/diploma in Compliance is highly desirable
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in financial institutions or audit firms
- Fluent knowledge of Armenian and English languages
- Excellent knowledge of banking legislation
- Good knowledge of risk management processes
- Ability to interpret legal / regulatory requirements and determine the impact on the bank’s operations
- Leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience of dealing with executives at different levels
