Digitain is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our growing team and work on complex data.

Job responsibilities
- Do an in-depth Data Analysis to Uncover intricate trends and patterns within vast datasets
- Develop cutting-edge predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
- Deploy your own models for batch prediction/inference or create web apis to serve the models to the intended audience.
- Carry code reviews for peers to QA the logic and the code both in terms of engineering and data science components.
- Communicate the findings and the progress of the model development with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product development teams to align data science initiatives with overall business goals
- Stay updated with the latest industry advancements and proactively incorporate new techniques into our data science practices
- Undertake various duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and versatility in addressing evolving project needs
Required qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics
- Experience in the role of ML engineer or data scientist
- Proven experience in data analytics, statistics, and algorithm implementation
- Ability to visualize complex data structures effectively
- Proficient in testing and verifying the quality of AI models, ensuring robust and reliable outcomes
- Experience in SQL and relational databases to write complex queries, create views and stored procedures.
- Strong proficiency in Python, leveraging it for advanced data analysis and model development
- Possess hands-on experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks – numpy, pandas, sklearn, pytorch/tensorflow. Experience with forecasting libraries will be a plus
- Display an in-depth knowledge about the popular ML algorithms such as logistic regression, linear regression, k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Random Forests, Boosting trees, etc.
- Experience to carry on A/B testing and explain the results to non-technical audience.
- Expertise in MLOps practices to streamline model development, deployment, and maintenance
- Experience in tools to deploy your models. - Apache Airflow, MLflow/Weights and Biases, Flask, etc
