Job description:

Viva-MTS is looking for Senior Datacenter Network Engineer to join our Network engineering team. H/she will work with variety of network types and will ensure reliability of network systems and monitor network performance. The Senior Datacenter Network Engineer is responsible for designing, engineering, implementing and operating data center network and security infrastructure. The senior Datacenter Network Engineer’s aim is to ensure the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to provide maximum performance for the users.

Job responsibilities

• Implement or migrate the legacy infrastructure to Cisco ACI solutions and coordinate required tasks;
• Work with variety of network types: LAN and SAN;
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and application related issues;
• Design and implement Cisco Datacenter technologies, develop, document and review of DC solutions, such as network architecture diagrams, network solution diagrams, high level, and low-level engineering design documents;
• Ensure the reliability of network systems and monitor network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting;
• Administration of systems and servers related to the Datacenter network;
• Prepare network and application systems documentations;
• Conduct any other duties as assigned by management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant sphere;
• Minimum 5 years of work experience as (Senior) Datacenter Network Engineer and with Datacenter technologies and with systems, and management monitoring tools;
• Profound experience with datacenter networking, specifically Cisco ACI for design, deployment & migrations;
• In-depth understanding of Cisco Nexus 9K/7K/5K/3K/2K architecture and Hands on experience (LAN);
• In-depth understanding of Cisco MDS switches (SAN);
• Professional Level and/or expert level certification (CCNP/CCIE);
• In-depth understanding and experience in communication and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, EIGRP);
• In-depth understanding and experience in switching protocols;
• Basic knowledge of programming, scripting;
• Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure;

• Knowledge and experience with monitoring systems is a plus.
• Teamwork spirit and good communication skills
• Ability to learn new or unfamiliar technologies quickly
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills and sharp troubleshooting skills
