We are seeking a creative and talented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team at Yerevan city supermarkets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in graphic design, particularly in creating engaging visuals for retail environments. To be able also to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a small team of designers.

Job responsibilities

1. Visual Design: Create visually appealing graphics for a variety of media, including print, digital, and social platforms. This includes designing posters, flyers, banners, brochures, social media posts, email campaigns, and in-store signage.
2. Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs are consistent with the supermarket’s branding guidelines and contribute to a cohesive brand image across all marketing materials.
3. Collaborative Projects: Work closely with the marketing team to understand project requirements, brainstorm creative solutions, and develop design concepts that align with marketing strategies.
4. Content Creation: Produce original graphic content for the supermarket’s website, app, and social media channels to enhance customer engagement and drive traffic.
5. Campaign Development & Concepts: Assist in the creation of marketing campaigns by developing promotional materials that highlight new products, special offers, and seasonal events.
6. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to ensure the supermarket’s designs are current and competitive.
7. Production Coordination: Liaise with external vendors and printing services to ensure the high-quality production of printed materials. Oversee the production process to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
8. Photo Editing and Catalogue Creation: Edit and retouch photos for use in marketing materials, ensuring they meet the brand’s aesthetic standards.
9. Project Management: Manage multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.

Required qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in the retail or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector.
3. Technical Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Knowledge of other design software and tools is a plus.
4. Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and creative solutions, particularly in retail or similar environments.
5. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present and explain design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
6. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of design work.
7. Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
8. Creativity: Innovative thinking and a passion for creating compelling visual content that resonates with customers.
9. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to team goals.
