Job description:

Day-to-day support to NGO’s project and thematic activities’ implementation in conformity with the expected objectives, results, outputs and work-plans.

Job responsibilities

• Manage the organization of events, workshops, roundtables, including the preparation and dissemination of information, and their follow-up communications.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly/annual progress reports using reporting templates.
• Assist in monitoring of project activities on the basis of related workplans.
• Manage the contact lists of project and thematic activities’ stakeholders.
• Take minutes of meetings.
• Assist the NGO Director in the development of a written short and long-term fundraising strategy.
• Perform a mapping of potential donors and refer to potential funding opportunities.
• Develop high quality proposals in consultation with the NGO Director.
• Contribute to communication materials which could be useful for the NGO’s visibility and fundraising activities.

Required qualifications

• Proven successful track record in fundraising for non-profit sector
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in fundraising for international development
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluency in English language, knowledge of Russian is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of institutional and private sector donors
• Knowledge of the Republic of Armenia’s education system will be an asset
