About TUMO

The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies is a free-of-charge educational program that puts teens in charge of their own learning. Our learning program is made up of self-learning activities, workshops and project labs that revolve around 14 learning targets.      

Foundation:

The Simonian Educational Foundation is the force behind TUMO, driving a vision of reimagining after-school learning. The SEF was founded by Sam and Sylva Simonian in 2011.  

Mission/Vision:

Our mission is to create life-changing learning experiences on a large scale. TUMO puts learners at the center of everything we do, ensuring fair access to education with choice and independence. We value originality, attention to detail, and innovation—not just following best practices, but shaping them through original thinking.
