Senior Contract Management Specialist

Yerevan Urban Development PIU (Statutory name: Investing Projects Implementation Unit Building up of Yerevan CNCO) is the special project management vehicle of Yerevan Municipality dealing with major large-scale and impactful infrastructure and urban development projects of the city since its establishment in 2009.

The company’s project portfolio includes roads, highways, bridges and public transportation infrastructure and mobility solutions, energy efficiency and seismic safety, renovation projects, social public infrastructure, including kindergartens, healthcare facilities, sports complexes, solid waste infrastructure, public spaces and parks, support to private sector-led urban development projects through development and implementation of land acquisition and resettlement plans. Currently the PIU is expanding its scope of operations to include also projects aiming at institutional and digital transformation of Yerevan and establishment of accountable, transparent and participatory local governance practices.

One of the PIU’s critical adjunct missions is to provide professional management and advisory services to Yerevan Municipality for the preparation, appraisal and negotiation of transformative investment projects and as such also act as an envoy for the dialogue with the Government and partner state agencies, international financial institutions and development partners, and the private sector.
