BostonGene is a pioneer company that uses biomedical software to identify new and personalized treatment options with next-generation multi-platform analytics, improving and optimizing cancer patient outcomes. We develop a distributed information and analytical system that provides oncologists with the necessary data for diagnosis and personalized treatment of patients.

Требования

Student of the 2nd or 3rd year of study, Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics and Informatics degree preferably;
Proficient in Python with an understanding of their respective knowledge base modules;
Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and MVC architecture;
Experience with web frameworks, such as Flask, FastAPI or similar technologies;
Familiarity with microservices architecture;
Experience with basic HTTP requests;
General knowledge of REST API;
Basic knowledge of SQL;

Nice to have:

Basic understanding of threads and processes, including the Global Interpreter Lock (GIL) and architectural implications;
Knowledge of SOLID principles, with a focus on dependency injection ;
Familiarity with SQLAlchemy, an Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tool for Python.

Additional information

Job type: Full-time or Part-time (starting from 20 working hours per week).
Employment term: three-month contract with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.
