Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer/Team Lead to join our growing team in Yerevan.

You will provide technical leadership to the developers' team, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.

Обязанности

Job responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of software development life cycle.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Java-based applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Produce and maintain clean, high-quality code.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to design principles.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers to define project scope, timeline, and deliverables.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and system documentation, to facilitate knowledge transfer and onboarding of new team members.

Требования

Required Qualifications:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of core Java concepts, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• In-depth knowledge of Java EE or Spring framework, along with experience in building enterprise-level applications using technologies such as Hibernate, JPA, and RESTful web services.
• Experience in CI/CD.
• Experience working in Agile development environments, with a good understanding of Agile principles and practices such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
• Experience in project management, including task estimation, resource allocation, and project planning, is beneficial.
• A passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in Java development and software engineering.
• A commitment to writing clean, maintainable code, along with experience in test-driven development (TDD).
• Fluency in English reading/writing/speaking.
