Financial Reporting Specialist

Are you GAME to JOIN US and be our new Financial Reporting Specialist.

SoftConstruct is on a search for a new player to join our team.  

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards and internal requirements,
• Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data,
• Collaborate with accounting/finance, business and other relevant teams to streamline reporting processes,
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis,
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to senior management as needed,
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and reporting requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s Degree, ACCA or equivalent certification preferred),
• 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a similar role,
• Strong knowledge of accounting and reporting standards,
• Advanced technical skills (Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI, Google Sheets),
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and presentation skills,
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion,
• Flexibility, ability to learn new concepts quickly,
• Attention to details, ability to work independently, build relationships across departments and meet tight deadlines.
