Job description:

The Company is looking for a candidate for the position of Manager Accounting and Tax who satisfies the below requirements set forth for the mentioned position and will be involved in the Company’s assignments aimed at maintaining the accounting and tax compliance of the Company Clients.

Job responsibilities

Manage & review Clients’ overall accounting procedure and tax compliance including but not limited to:

  • Managing the preparation & review of financial statements and tax returns,
  • Managing the preparation & review of managerial reports,
  • Being in charge for payroll calculation, vendor, salary & other staff related payment processing in an accurate & timely manner,
  • Managing revenue calculation (where appropriate) and invoice issuance,
  • Identify & solve tricky or complicated issues occurred during an ordinary operation,
  • Manage staff members within the group under his/her supervision,
  • Participate in financial and tax audits and serve as a primary liaison between Clients & the third party,
  • Upon necessity replace group member and carry on his/her duties,
  • Keep daily communication with the Clients and be charge for group work,
  • Other relevant tasks instructed directly by management.

Required qualifications

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics,
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in accounting,
  • CAAA (Chamber of Auditors and Expert Accountants of Armenia) certification is a must, ACCA member/student will be a plus,
  • Ability of making decisions in difficult situations,
  • High responsibility and punctuality,
  • Professional Competence and Behavior,
  • Ability working under pressure and simultaneously with multiple tasks,
  • Strategic and analytical thinking,
  • Past/present managerial experience,
  • Professional appearance and behavior,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills,
  • Have strong managerial skills, ability to focus on big picture detail,
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS, Tax, Labour and Customs legislation of RA
  • Knowledge of accounting software (Armenian software, 1C), spreadsheet and word processing skills,
  • Language skills: Armenian, Russian, English.
