Job description:
Digitec Invovations is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT projects, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing various technology projects, ensuring successful execution and alignment with business objectives.

Job responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:
- Define project scope and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, conducting the requirements gathering process.

Requirements Management:
- Document, analyze, and organize project needs, ensuring clarity and order.

Stakeholder Management:
- Regular communication with stakeholders, providing project updates and addressing issues.

Project Reports and Documents:
- Prepare and present progress reports, proposals, and project documentation (such as Project Charter, Project Schedule, WBS, Risks Register, Scope Statement, Project Closure, etc).

Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify potential project risks with the team and stakeholders, develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage project risks and issues.

Team Meetings:
- Conduct team meetings to keep the team motivated, discuss any issues that prevent progress on the project, and provide status updates.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
- Run sessions to confirm project deliverables meet clinets and staholders expectations.

Phase Handover:
- Ensure smooth transitions between project stages, transferring information seamlessly.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT project management.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to manage 2-3 projects simultaneously.
- Project Management or Agile certifications are a plus.
- English proficiency at least B2 level or higher.
