BostonGene is an international IT Healthcare company that creates an analytical platform for oncologists to diagnose patients and find the most effective strategy to treat cancer. We work in a rapidly evolving field of medicine, molecular biology, and IT. Our main task is to help physicians select the most appropriate treatment to save a patient’s life.

We are looking for employees ready to analyze cutting-edge molecular oncology and cancer therapy studies and implement them into our healthcare ecosystem.

The analyst will participate in multiple projects, including collaborating on projects and providing necessary information from publications to support bioinformaticians with analysis result interpretation.


Job responsibilities

  • The main focus of this position is on the following projects: Development of immunotherapy response predictors, studying the effectiveness and toxicity of new anti-cancer therapies, and study of the immune system in cancer patients.
  • Literature search and annotation of different molecular features: cell markers for cytometry, oncology biomarkers, gene sets, and biomarkers of various clinical conditions.
  • Literature analysis and in-depth study of information on different cancer diagnoses (pathogenesis of the disease, methods of diagnosis, and treatment).
  • Preparation of presentations in English.
  • It will be a plus: experience in cancer research and working with NGS, flow cytometry, and proteomics.

Required qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of molecular biology and immunology.
  • Understanding of principles of cytometry and NGS, PCR experiments.
  • Master’s degree in immunology, medicine, molecular biology, cell biology, bioinformatics, or other related disciplines of biology and medicine.
  • Analytical mindset and experience working with a continuous flow of new information.
  • Experience working with scientific literature and scientific databases.
  • Proficiency in Russian, English level - B2 or higher.
  • Experience in an immunology laboratory and experience with a flow cytometer, NGC and PCR techniques.
  • It will be a plus: experience in cancer research.
