Job description:
With the growing number of new types of immunotherapies, the immune system's role in treating various oncological diseases is becoming increasingly apparent. In the Immunoprofiling Department at BostonGene, we are creating innovative products for the diagnostics and treatment selection of cancer patients based on the molecular analysis of immune blood cells.
We are looking for a graduate bioinformatician to help us research the molecular mechanisms of immune therapy responses and the development of adverse events. This person will also play a crucial role in discovering new biomarkers and predicting therapy responses using different statistical methods and machine learning techniques.

Job responsibilities
- Analysis of various multi-omics data (Multicolor Flow Cytometry, CyTOF, NGS) to find new biomarkers in blood and create new predictors of therapy toxicity and response to treatment.
- Process and analyze data from collaboration with top American Cancer centers (e.g. MDA, TJU, MGH, WU, NCI) to gather valuable insights about immune system involvement in disease progression or remission.
- Participation in the preparation of publications in scientific journals.
- Communication with American colleges in the Boston laboratory.
Required qualifications
- BS/MS in Bioinformatics, Biology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Understanding of molecular biology, and cancer biology concepts, interest in immunology.
- Basic knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and data analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of Python programming language and libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) used for data analysis, Linux.
- Fluent in English and Russian.
- Experience in working with NGS data will be a plus.
