Job responsibilities

In this role You will

• Define mutual goals and objectives and build awareness and support of overall strategic benefits of Synopsys Academic & Research Alliances (SARA).

• Capture the current and future requirements of educators (external/internal) and act as their advocate within Synopsys.

• Discuss with professors across the world their educational needs and adjust content creation road mapping accordingly.

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships and must be able to work effectively at multiple organizational levels with universities and internal content developers (ACE, SAED).

• Create new educational models, educational programs and curriculums based on the content made available internally and externally.

• Organize and promote existing content to academics globally in cooperation with marketing team​​​​.

• Review textbooks, texts of lectures, presentation slides, laboratory works, practical classes, course projects and assess how they can be incorporated in existing curricula.

• Travel and attend education conferences globally to connect to the community and promote Synopsys’ workforce development products and services.

• Prepare various statistical reports concerning the BS, MS and Ph.D. programs usage based on download analytics.

Required qualifications

• Graduate degree or proven knowledge of design of Digital Integrated Circuits and/or Analog Circuit Design.

• 3-5 years in circuit design or implementation; or equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

• Experience of developing teaching material is a plus.

• Proven knowledge of design of Digital Standard Cell Libraries, Standard I/O Libraries is a plus.

• Familiar with the Design of Process Design Kits and Educational Design Kits (generic PDKs).

• A deep understanding of the educational process at universities and the complexities of semiconductor design.

• Knowledge of scripting languages.

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, etc.), fluent in English.

• Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
