Job description:

The Transport Unit Manager is responsible for planning and managing the Company’s fleet activities. H/She will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, transparent and smooth operations of the fleet, transport services and overall performance of the unit.

The position holder assumes responsibility for implementing and controlling the procedures with respect to the product/material and monetary values of the unit, in accordance with the acting procedures of the Company.

Job responsibilities

• Allocate, monitor and control the staff duties and responsibilities;
• Sign and approve all unit documents: contracts, applications, forms, invoices and etc.;
• Plan the Unit annual/monthly budget and ensure that unit’s expenses are implemented according to approved budget;
• Manage fuel distribution activities;
• Control vehicles repairing works;
• Supervise total run and corresponding fuel consumption;
• Manage the transport provision process to staff;
• Monitor vehicles maintenance;
• Control effective collaboration with vehicle Insurance Company;
• Coach, mentor and motivate the staff on job functions, objectives and career development plans;
• Conduct evaluation of employee performance;
• Plan and develop unit’s strategy;
• Prepare reports for the management․

Required qualifications

• Higher education;
• 4 years of relevant work experience;
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, driving rules;
• Basic knowledge of the implementation of transport services;
• Excellent language (Armenian, Russian and English) and computer skills;
• Effective communication skills;
• Effective team working and problem-solving skills;
• Building effective teams;
• Innovation management.
