Picsart is looking for a Web Software Engineer to join our team. By joining us, you’ll take part in our mission to empower everyone to create! We are dedicated to helping people express their creativity through our products and we seek a talented engineer to help us build and scale our web experiences of AI tools.
As a Web Software Engineer, you will work with languages and technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and Canvas. Your primary responsibilities will include the development, implementation, and maintenance of cross-functional, high-performance, and scalable web applications, with a strong emphasis on enhancing user experience

Job responsibilities
You will
- Develop functional, performant and scalable web applications with React
- Perform performance testing and optimizations
- Build reusable React components
- Develop new user-facing features
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Analyze the product design complexity, plan workload, and communicate risks
Required qualifications
About You
- BS/MA degree in a highly quantitative field or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience as a JavaScript Engineer
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and related technologies
- Experience with ReactJS is a must
- Experience with JSS, SASS, PostCSS, JSX
- Experience with Responsive/Adaptive Web Design and Single Page Applications
- Ability to write comprehensive Unit Tests, ensuring code quality, reliability, and maintainability
- Experience with state management libraries, especially Redux
- Familiarity with RESTful web services and API integration
- Experience in working with build tools, such as Webpack
- Experience with Canvas & Maths (Basic Geometry Trigonometry, Transformation matrix, Two Dimensional Coordinate Geometry) is a plus
- Competence in utilizing and optimizing performance tools such as PageSpeed, Lighthouse, and Chrome Developer Tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize code for performance
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest web technologies and best practices
- Collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork within cross-functional development teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, facilitating clear and efficient collaboration with team members
