About the Company Nexia Armenia is a full member of Nexia International, a global network of accounting, audit and advisory firms. The company has been operating in the financial services sector for nearly 20 years, previously known as "AN Audit."

 

Nexia Armenia provides services in the following 4 main areas:

1. Accounting Services:

Bookkeeping, Preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS, Preparation of tax calculations and reports, Preparation of managerial reports, Preparation of special-purpose regulatory reports, and many other services.

2. Audit and Assurance Services:

External audit, Internal audit, Project audit, Special-purpose audit, and Other assurance services.

3. Tax Services:

Services related to profit tax, value-added tax (VAT), income tax, turnover tax, license fees, and other taxes and mandatory payments, Past period and current period tax review, Tax planning, Tax expertise, Tax due diligence.

4. Advisory Services:

Consulting on organizational restructuring, Advisory support for complex transactions, Financial Due diligence, and Assistance in IFRS implementation.

About the Partnership

Magnus is now assisting “Nexia Armenia” with its whole HRM function, coordinating the processes from A to Z, including, but not limited to: HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee motivation & engagement, offboarding, and more.  

 

About you

We are looking for experienced and motivated auditors for Senior and Manager-level positions. The final level will be determined after the professional interview based on your expertise and experience.

Your role will involve leading audit projects, improving team efficiency, and ensuring high-quality results.

About the role

For this role we have identified two main performance objectives:

  1. Deliver high-quality audit projects on time
  2. Enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.

 

The 1st objective is to deliver high-quality audit projects on time. 

Typical tasks are:

  • Oversee client interactions and manage audit projects to ensure high-quality service and client satisfaction.
  • Take the lead on at least one audit project, ensuring full compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and verifying financial statements in alignment with IFRS.
  • Keep leadership informed about audit progress, milestones, any challenges faced, and necessary actions to address issues.
  • Foster a culture of quality by ensuring audits meet client expectations and adhere to company standards.
  • Introduce tools and methods to improve audit processes, increasing speed, accuracy, and effective use of resources.
  • Perform audit tasks under the guidance of the manager, particularly partial audits, as per the manager's plan.

 

The 2nd objective is to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness. 

Typical tasks are:

  • Lead audit teams to ensure projects are completed on time and accurately, maintaining high standards.
  • Provide mentorship and hands-on leadership, sharing best practices to enhance team capabilities.
  • Spot inefficiencies in current processes (e.g., lengthy workflows) and guide the team in adopting practical, results-oriented solutions.
  • Monitor and assess team performance to ensure progress toward efficiency targets and project goals.
  • Coordinate team tasks and ensure smooth communication to maintain organized workflows and project success.
Требования
  • 3+ years of experience in handling similar responsibilities.
  • Higher education in accounting or finance and/or professional certification as an accountant/auditor.
  • Mastery of Excel to manage and analyze data efficiently.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting fundamentals, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and processes.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to prepare and present financial reports clearly, ensuring stakeholders understand key insights and data.
  • Working experience in Big Four will be a big plus. 
  • Proficiency in English & Russian languages will be a big plus, as sometimes you might keep communication with international partners, enhancing project success.

Hiring stages expected

1. Phone Interview: The hiring process will begin with a 30-minute phone interview conducted by the HR specialist. The purpose of this interview is to understand your career goals and motivation for joining the company. We will also discuss organizational details and address any questions you may have.

 

2. Professional Interview: This will be an onsite meeting with your direct supervisor and the Partner. The goal is to assess your professional background, expertise, and approach. During this interview, you will be presented with role-specific tasks or scenarios to solve, allowing us to evaluate your problem-solving skills and professional thought process. This is also an opportunity for you to learn more about the role and team.

 

3. Team interview: In this stage, you will meet with potential team members. The focus will be on teamwork, collaboration, and cultural fit. This is an opportunity for both you and the team to assess how well your values align with theirs.
