Fantastic opportunity to join a leading Airline team in Armenia


Cargo Manager will be responsible for daily handling of Sales of our international air cargo business, including direct work with corporate customers, courier companies, cargo forwarding agents and all direct customers, will drive to increase volume in cargo sales and also manage a range of key account clients.


Reporting to company management, Cargo Manager will formulate and implement marketing strategies in line with the overall country objectives and maximize the airlines market share revenue earnings within air cargo sales market. This includes market segmentation, ensuring pricing strategies are sufficiently competitive to achieve optimum levels of revenue and traffic.


Job responsibilities

  • Make bookings of cargo shipments in the system
  • Issue AWBs and provide to customers
  • Check the compliance of accepted cargo
  • Drive revenue generation by implementing local cargo strategies
  • Analyze and report on market conditions and trends to leverage Airlines competitive advantage
  • Manage the day-to-day bookings and contact with key account agents and shippers for revenue generation
  • Able to conduct regular agent performance reviews
  • Actively manage relationships with shippers, key industry and trade partners
  • Provide customer-centric solutions to customers
  • Conduct sales calls and make from time to time visit to customers
  • Handle all cargo related paperwork and cargo related financial documents/invoices/statements
  • Monitor and follow up on customer payments to avoid outstanding balances.

Required qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience at sales (in Air Cargo business is preferable)
  • Strong track record of developing and leading the successful sales programs for an Airline Cargo business with a demonstrated record of success in building new revenue streams
  • Strong sales experience in overall business-to-business sales & marketing experience
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills both short-term/tactical and long-term/strategic
  • Be a well-structured, highly professional individual who is results focused
  • University graduated, industry certificate is preferable
  • Language: English – Professional competence in reading/listening/writing/speaking
  • Computer Skill: Professional competence with Office
  • Hard working and multi-tasking
  • Must possess a complete understanding of the flight / cargo operations
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and building relationship
  • High motivated and disciplined
