Job description:
The Senior QA Automation Engineer oversees test case management, bug reporting, and results reporting for a designated project. Additionally, they play a crucial role in mentoring junior and mid-level team members.

Job responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify bugs and issues
- Document and report test results, providing clear and concise feedback to the development team
- Track and manage defects and work with developers to resolve them
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and tool
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers
- Assist in the manual testing process as needed to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Create and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks
- Ensure that automated tests are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA automation
- Proven experience in developing automated tests using Python
- Familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Strong proficiency in Python for test automation
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, PyTest
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus
- Knowledge of performance testing and tools such as JMeter is beneficial
- Familiarity with database testing and SQL
