Job description:

The Engineering & Maintenance Manager oversees daily operations and coordinates maintenance activities to ensure efficient facility performance and adherence to safety standards.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance activities, manage staff, and optimize equipment performance.
  • Organize preventive maintenance according to best engineering practices and company's GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) policies and procedures, maintaining close contact with Production Shift Supervisors.
  • Coordinate prompt emergency maintenance and repairs, adhering to best engineering practices and company's GMP policies and procedures, in collaboration with Production Shift Supervisors.
  • Manage activities of the Site's boiler house, compressed air station, CO2 station, HV power station, and other infrastructure units to ensure continuous utility supply to users.
  • Develop annual, half-yearly, quarterly, monthly, and weekly preventive maintenance plans, adjusting them as necessary based on production plans.
  • Allocate labor and material resources in accordance with current preventive maintenance plans.
  • Ensure the safe operation of pressure vessels, natural gas equipment, and lifting equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records as per company procedures.
  • Effectively plan Spare Parts Warehouse inventory to ensure availability for emergency and preventive maintenance while adhering to budget constraints and striving for cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure proper management of both virtual and physical warehouse facilities and maintain goods in suitable conditions.
  • Continuously optimize inventory using insights gained from manufacturer guidelines and practical experience.
  • Prepare and distribute necessary reports, plans, and presentations.
  • Prepare, review, update, obtain approvals for, distribute, and train on subdivision-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Develop and mentor the Maintenance Subdivision team to foster continuous improvement of skills and competencies.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering;
  • Good knowledge of Russian and English,
  • Advanced PC user: MS Office, AutoCAD is a plus;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Proven 3+ experience in a similar position and with similar duties;
  • Fair understanding of manufacturing and procurement/supply chain
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific, technical documents and manuals;
  • Understanding of automation fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with automation systems such as PLCs, VFDs, and Servo Drives, as well as control-measuring devices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and keep an eye on numerous tasks;
