We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Front Office Manager to join our team. As the Front Office Manager, you will make sure that customers and visitors feel welcome and are well looked after. Your role will include overseeing employee schedules, front office staff training, and perform the basic reconciling of receipts.

Job responsibilities

1.Oversee the entire Front Office operation to maintain high standards

2. Participate in the selection of front office personnel. Recruit, manage, train and develop the Front Office team

3. Set departmental objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies, and procedures

4. Evaluate levels of Guest satisfaction and monitor trends, with a focus on continuous improvement

5. Ensure regular and VIP Guests are recognized and that the Front Office department operates with a sales attitude and promotes the hotel brand’s loyalty scheme

6. Maximize room occupancy at best rates and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities

7. Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the Front Office Team Members with an emphasis on training and teamwork

8. Ensure Team Members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area, and are continuously trained to learn and understand policies and practices

9. Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel departments

10. Monitor staffing levels to meet cover business demands

11. Conduct monthly communication meetings and produce minutes

12. Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures

Required qualifications

1. A minimum of 2 years of Front Office supervisory experience in the hotel

2. Communicates and writes with fluency in English/Russian

3. High level of commercial awareness and sales capabilities

4. Experience of managing people and developing people

5. Pre-opening hotel experience is not a must, but will be a plus

6. A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent will be a plus

7. Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations

8. Ability to work on your own and as part of a Team

Required candidate level: Senior

Salary: From 300000 AMD Net a month
