Position Overview: We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a passion for gaming and a strong engineering mindset to join our dynamic and passionate team at Rockbite Games. Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable delivery of game updates and features.
Collaborate closely with developers, system administrators, and QA engineers to streamline the development and deployment processes.
Monitor and manage server infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance of our games.
Automate and optimize operational tasks, such as deployments, scaling, and monitoring.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and ensure a smooth gaming experience.
Implement and maintain security best practices to protect our games and player data.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevOps processes and tools.

Required qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Passion for gaming and a deep appreciation for player experiences.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Required candidate level: Mid level

Additional information

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of scripting and programming languages.
Previous experience working in the gaming industry.
Understanding of network and security best practices.
Experience with microservices architecture.
