Job description:
The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies is looking for an energetic and talented Communication Specialist to join the communications team. You have to write and produce various types of content for the center’s communication channels, to manage our social media accounts, to work with media and to enjoy all of the above․

Job responsibilities
- Write, edit and translate various types of articles for the official website
- Strategize online content production and scheduling
- Manage the center’s social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
- Regularly research new technologies and trends in social media
- Write announcements, press releases and prepare information for the media, posters and presentations
- Track media coverage and discussions on social media about the center
- Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks, research and develop media contacts
- Give tours to TUMO’s guests when necessary
- Support the coverage of TUMO’s other educational programs
Required qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing, social media management, journalism or communications
- Excellent skills in written and verbal communication, storytelling and reporting
- Excellent knowledge of social media tools
- Strong editing and proofreading skills
- Multitasking, flexible, creative
- Excellent knowledge of Armenian language, high level of English is preferred
Required candidate level: Mid level

What is TUMO?
TUMO is a new kind of educational experience at the intersection of technology and design.

TUMO has centers in Yerevan, Dilijan, Gyumri and Stepanakert and work is underway to open centers in Koghb and Masis. TUMO Boxes are already in operation in the towns of Berd, Gavar, Sevan, Vayk, Kapan and Martakert. Many more TUMO Boxes will open soon in various towns throughout Armenia and Artsakh. Outside of Armenia, there are centers in Paris, Beirut, Moscow, Tirana, Berlin and Lyon. Centers will soon open in several other cities around the world.
